The Laura Branigan Spirit Of Love Memorial Gathering 2024

EVENT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the Laura Branigan "Spirit Of Love" Memorial Gathering 2024!

Other Half Entertainment, the Laura Branigan Legacy Management Company, looks forward to hosting this fan gathering weekend that celebrates the life, artistry, and legacy of the one and only LAURA BRANIGAN!

The event will take place on Long Island, New York from Friday, August 16 through Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, which is located close to where Laura last resided.

This 3-day event will be filled with remembrances of Laura as well as fun activities. To commemorate and reflect upon the 20th anniversary of Laura's passing, we will again be traveling to the ocean for a Beach Memorial, and we will hold a Candlelight Memorial at the hotel, too. Also, our group will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Laura's iconic single and album SELF CONTROL!

Also planned is a memorabilia display, where Other Half Entertainment archive items from Laura's life and career will be available, and we welcome attendees to bring their own personal Laura items and photos from their collections that they would like to share. In addition, we will hold a trivia contest with special video and prizes. Throughout the weekend there will be lots of Laura music and video, including a 40th anniversary screening of the film "Mugsy's Girls," and more!

On Sunday, August 18, we will once again spend the day out and about in various areas of the Hamptons, including East Quogue, where Laura resided, with a drive by her home. This outing provides a great opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the beautiful area, and spend more social time together beyond the other aspects of the gathering.

Please note that all the main scheduled activities in remembrance of Laura will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 16-17, which will accommodate those who may need to depart on Sunday due to work or other reasons.

Participants will receive an event program, a commemorative item, and an event T-shirt.

It's hard to adequately put into words the awesome time that has been had by all who have attended this event since its inception in 2005. Something very special occurs when Laura's "other half" come together, united by our common love for Laura and our heartfelt commitment to ensure that she is never forgotten. It's a comfortable familiarity of being with those who truly "get it" when it comes to Laura Branigan.

We hope to see those who have attended past gatherings return to Long Island for Spirit Of Love 2024, and we also look forward to meeting those of you who will join us for the first time as we all come together to remember Laura.

The Laura Branigan Memorial Gathering 2024 is a great opportunity to spend time with old friends, make new ones, and to keep Laura's memory alive!
