As Other Half Entertainment, Laura Branigan’s legacy management company, we certainly welcome and are happy to endorse and promote new music releases bearing Laura’s name, with the condition that these releases are produced by record labels that either own the rights legitimately or have properly secured the rights to Laura’s recordings, including both studio and live performances. Unfortunately, in the case of start-up label Kian Records, their recent and first release “Laura Branigan Live!”, which features live performances from Laura’s 1990 concert tour, is an unauthorized and unofficial release.
