On September 14, 1984, Laura Branigan and her band performed a brilliant concert in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts in New York City as part of Laura's SELF CONTROL TOUR. At this particular night's show, Laura treated her audience to her new single "The Lucky One," as well as a very special, rare performance of "A Rose and a Tear" at the piano, an unreleased song that she herself wrote during the early days in the late 70's when she was pursuing a solo career.
As we celebrate the 41st anniversary of the release of Laura's SELF CONTROL album this month, we are very happy to present this concert to you, from an era when Laura's career was soaring to new heights!
