The Billboard Hot 100, which began in 1958, celebrated its 65th anniversary on Aug. 4, 2023. To celebrate, Billboard is counting down over the next 3 days their staff's picks for the 500 best pop songs since the chart began. These are the songs that have defined greatness, and to that end, Laura's mega-hit and signature song "Gloria" is found at #448, having had its Hot 100 peak at #2 on November 27, 1982.
