Video of Laura at "Night of 100 Stars II" Diamond Fashion Show (1985) Added to Laura's Official Artist Channel on YouTube

February 17, 1985 - Laura attended and participated in "Night of 100 Stars II," a star-studded variety extravaganza event to benefit the Actors' Fund of America, specifically to raise funds for the completion of an extended care facility adjacent to The Actors' Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey. Funds first began being raised for that facility at the first "Night of 100 Stars" in 1982. This 1985 event was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and featured 308 stars, with the show consisting of more than a dozen segments devoted to various aspects of the entertainment industry. The television special for this evening aired on ABC network on March 10, 1985. As was the case with the first "Night of 100 Stars" television special in March 1982, each celebrity was counted off on screen as they appeared, whether singing, dancing, joking, or walking across the stage. The orchestra was conducted by the renowned Leonard Bernstein.

Laura appeared in the Diamond Fashion Show segment, shining the spotlight on the designer of her wardrobe for that evening, Michaele Vollbracht. As Laura and Michaele crossed the stage to meet in the middle, Laura was wearing a strikingly beautiful black lace and sequin dress, accessorized with a matching parasol. Laura truly shined in the moment! ge. The orchestra was conducted by the renowned Leonard Bernstein.
